Beebe, Hutchinson to Speak at State Chamber Meeting
Hot Springs (AP) - Two leading gubernatorial candidates are to address the annual meeting of the Arkansas Chamber of Commerce meeting in Hot Springs this week. Attorney General Mike Beebe, a Democratic candidate, is to address the business group on Tuesday at noon. Former Congressman Asa Hutchinson, a Republican, is to speak on Wednesday in the meeting's closing session. Also on the agenda for the meeting are sessions on school funding, taxes and highway improvements. (The Associated Press)
